Description
Yellow Mustard seeds are small, round seeds with a bright yellow to light-brown color and a mild, slightly pungent taste. They are widely used in Indian cuisine for tempering and adding aroma and flavor to various dishes.
Yellow mustard is commonly used in curries, sambar, rasam, pickles, chutneys, vegetable dishes and spice blends. When added to hot oil, the seeds crackle and release a distinctive nutty aroma and flavor.
They are a convenient pantry staple for everyday cooking and can also be ground into mustard powder or paste for use in sauces, marinades and dressings.
