Description
Star Anise is a distinctive, star- shaped spice known for its sweet, aromatic and slightly licorice-like flavor. It is the dried fruit of the Illicium verum tree and is widely used in Indian, Asian and international cuisines.

How to
Use
1. Show whole star anise and explain its sweet, aromatic flavor.
2. Star anise, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin, and coriander seeds.
3. Roast the whole spices on low heat until fragrant.
4. Transfer the roasted spices to a plate and allow them to cool completely.
5. Grind the cooled spices into a fine powder.
6. Mix well to prepare homemade garam masala.
7. Add a small amount to briyani, curries, gravies.
8. Show the finished dish and highlight the rich aroma of star anise.
