How to
Use
1. Wash the black urad dal thoroughly.
2. Soak it in enough water for 6-8 hours or overnight.
3. Drain and rinse the soaked dal.
4. Add dal, water, and salt to a pressure cooker.
5. Cook until the dal becomes soft and tender.
6. Prepare a tempering with oil/ghee, cumin. onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and spices.
7. Add the cooked dal and mix well.
8. Simmer for a few minutes until creamy.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
10.Serve hot with rice, chapati.
